Today marks the International Day of Older Persons, with the Church of Greece remaining at the forefront of supporting, caring and offering pastoral and spiritual care to numerous senior citizens in the country.

The Archdiocese of Athens and Metropolises around Greece systematically operate door-to-door food deliveries, soup kitchens and on-site visits by volunteers on a daily basis.
