Church of Greece cautions faithful amid appearance of neo-Protestant proselytizing campaign

The Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece on Monday called on the faithful to be cautious in the face of a neo-Protestant proselytizing campaign taking place in the country, reminding that Christians do not need the various heretical movements being peddled by newcomers, nor so-called local and foreign “preachers” in order to come closer to the Gospels.
The statement came after members of the Church of Greece’s relevant synodal committee on heresies was made aware of proselytization by a group called “Hellenic Ministries”.
