Church of Greece’s Holy Synod expresses support for Patriarchate of Jerusalem

The second day of a three-day assembly of the Church of Greece’s Holy Synod, for the month of February, was held on Tuesday.
A day earlier, members of the Holy Synod issued a decision proclaiming their active support for the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, on the heels of constant reports and pleas by the Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III, who has detailed threats against the Christian presence in the Holy Land, as well as attacks on pilgrimages and Christian sites.
