Church services without worshippers decided for Arcadia prefecture
The latest surge in the number of confirmed new single-day instances of Covid-19 in Greece has led to a decision to bar the presence of worshippers at Church services and Divine Liturgies conducted in cathedrals and chapels in the southern Greece prefecture of Arcadia.
Sadly, and similar to restrictions imposed elsewhere in Greece, the maximum number people allowed for marriages, baptisms, memorial services and funerals in the prefecture is set at nine.
Although a disappointing development, the number of vaccinations against the Covid-19 virus in the country of 11 million has reached roughly 800,000.
