City council approves funding for repairs at 3 Cathedrals in Sofia

The city council of Sofia, Bulgaria has approved funding of 200,000 leva for repairs of three Orthodox cathedrals in the Bulgarian capital, and specifically for the Early Christian Church of St. George – whose distinctive red brick rotunda is considered the oldest building in Sofia -as well as the Annunciation and the Dormition of the Virgin Cathedrals.
