Clergymen will bless the streets of Tbilisi amid coronavirus outbreak

Today, at 1:00 pm (local time), clergymen will walk from the Trinity Cathedral to the central streets of the city and bless it .

Archbishop Demetre (Davitashvili) informed the parishioners about the order of the Patriarch in the Trinity Cathedral on Sunday.

He also said that they should read specific prayers three times a day.

“Depending on the situation created in Georgia and all around the world the church decided to take some kind of measures, prayers for instance. After each liturgy, the church and the streets will be blessed with holy water and on Tuesday at 13:00, the clergymen will bless the main streets of Tbilisi.”- Archbishop Demetre said.
