Cooperation between Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy and Orthodox Public Affairs Committee (OPAC)

The head of the Greek delegation at the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy, New Democracy party MP Maximos Harakopoulos, and the founder & chairman of the Orthodox Public Affairs Committee (OPAC), George Gigikos, this week discussed, by video-conference, joint actions by the two organizations, with the intent of protecting persecuted Christians and monuments around the world.

A main issue up for discussion was, of course, the Hagia Sophia, which was abruptly reconverted by the Erdogan regime in Turkey into a mosque last year
