Deputy US ambassador in Turkey makes personal visit to Theological School of Halki

The deputy ambassador of the US embassy in Ankara, Scott Oudkirk, made a private visit on Sunday with his family to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople’s Theological School of Halki.
The distinguished guests were received by the Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, Bishop Kassianos, and the monastery’s brotherhood.

During his meeting with the US diplomat, Bishop Kassianos referred to the history and rich contribution of the iconic seminary to theological education and the Orthodox Church.
