Ecumenical Patriarch awarded by the Marmara Grubu Vakfi Foundation
On Tuesday, 6 May 2025, at a special ceremony held to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Marmara Grupu Vakfi Foundation, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was awarded the “Ahmet Samsunlu” award for his contribution to the field of ecology.
The ceremony, accompanied by a gala dinner, was attended by many personalities from various countries of the world and from various social classes.
The Patriarch, in a speech delivered in Turkish, thanked for the honorary distinction and congratulated the President of the Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver, on the celebrated anniversary.
