Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I concludes first-ever pastoral visit by Shepherd of Mother Church to Lithuania

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, concluded the first-ever visit by a Shepherd of the Mother Church to the Baltic nation of Lithuania, where he was received by the country’s leadership and met with Orthodox clergy and faithful.
On Wednesday, the Ecumenical Patriarch received five Orthodox clergymen whom he restored to the priesthood after they had been previously deposed by the Patriarchate of Moscow.

The Ecumenical Patriarch blessed the five clerics, and called on them to continue the valuable ministry of “…our Orthodox brothers in Lithuania for the Church.”
