The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Thursday was vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus. The inoculation was conducted at a public university clinic in the Bosporus metropolis.

On the occasion, the Ecumenical Patriarch thanked the medical and nursing staff of the clinic, as well as all of their colleagues around the world, for their self-sacrifice in the struggle for the treatment of patients and the support of their relatives.

His All Holiness also encouraged the faithful to be vaccinated against Covid-19 as soon as possible.
