Ecumenical Patriarchate’s Holy & Sacred Synod convenes on Halki

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, this week received at the Patriarchate the Grand Protosyncellus Theodoros, whom he congratulated on his election as a professor at the Higher Patriarchal Ecclesiastical Academy of Crete.

In a related development, His All Holiness, along with the Synodal Hierarchs, travelled to the Halki Seminary on the eponymous Marmara Sea isle this week for a meeting of the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s Holy and Sacred Synod.
