Election for four Church of Greece Metropolitans in coming period

Members of the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece will convene in person on Tuesday in Athens.
One of the most prominent items on the agenda is the election of four new Metropolitans for a same-number of metropolises around the country, and specifically the ecclesiastical jurisdictions of Gortynia-Megaloupoli, Aetolia-Akarnania, Drama and Ilia.
