Energy-saving initiative by Orthodox Academy of Crete

Church of Crete Archimandrite Titos, the First Secretary of the Holy Metropolis of Petra and Heronissos, officiated at today’s Orthros and Divine Liturgy services at the elderly care center at the Aghia Paraskevi settlement in the Metropolis.
Still on the large island, the Orthodox Academy of Crete, in partnership with the Michigan Interfaith Power and Light institute, has announced an initiative to expand photo-voltaic panels at the Academy in order to produce more clean energy and reduce its “carbon “footprint”.
