Enrollment in Orthodox Sunday schools in Austria growing every year

Sunday schools run by the Metropolis of Austria and Exarchy of Hungary and Central Europe are attracting an increasing number of children over the past few years, with the ethnic Greek communities in Austria well-represented in Church institutions.

With the blessings of the Metropolitan of Austria, His Eminence Arsenius, the number of pupils participating at the Orthodox Church’s Sunday schools now exceeds more than 13,600, with the number rising every year.

During a recent assembly of Sunday school teachers, held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Vienna, Metropolitan Arsenius praised their efforts and very significant mission.
