The Church today venerates the memory of James, the Great Martyr of Persia, who achieved the crown of martyrdom in the fifth century. Today is also the anniversary of the canonization of St. Iakovos Tsalikis, whose feast day was set by the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate on Nov. 22 every year.

The Church today venerates the memory of James, the Great Martyr of Persia, who achieved the crown of martyrdom in the fifth century.
