Feast day of St. Artemios

The Church today venerates the memory of Artemios, the Great Martyr of Antioch. Today is also the feast day of Gerasimos of Cephalonia, and Matrona, the Righteous of Chios.

The feast day of St. Artemios was celebrated in a festal and solemn manner by law enforcement in the country, with the main con-celebratory services held at the Church of the Pammegisti Taxiarches, or Great Archangels, located within the old Gendarmerie school in the Greek capital.
