Feast day of the Eight Holy Martyrs

The Church today venerates the memory of the 3rd century Holy Martyrs Peter, Dionysius, Andrew, Paul, Christina, Heraclius, Paulinus and Benedimus.

These saints all contested in martyrdom during the reign of the emperor Decius.
