Features on celebrations of Great Feast Day of the Dormition of the Theotokos (Virgin Mary) across the Aegean (VIDEO + PHOTOS)

The Orthodoxia News Agency this week will host several features on how the Church and the faithful celebrate the Great Feast Day of the Dormition of the Panaghia, the Ever Virgin Mary, on various Aegean islands.

The Great Feast Day will be celebrated by Orthodoxy on Thursday, Aug. 15.

A feature on the Cyclades island of Paros, where the Panagia Ekatontapiliani Cathedral is located, one of the renowned Marian pilgrimages in the Aegean, will be posted today, while on Thursday a feature will be posted on the island of Tinos, where the Our Lady of Tinos Cathedral is located, the epicenter of the Great Feast Day’s celebrations for Greek Orthodoxy.
