The first con-celebratory Orthros since the canonization of new ethnomartyr Ananias Labardis, Metropolitan of Lakedemonia, took place on Monday at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Evangelist, in the city of Sparta, officiated by the Metropolitan of Sparta, His Eminence Efstathios.
The Sacred and Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate this month announced the canonization of the new saint of the Orthodox Church.
