Fr. Dimitris Tanaka: ‘Greece the light of the world, as revealed by God’

Orthodox priest Dimitris Tanaka, a native of Japan, issued an emotional message this week over Greece’s contribution to humanity’s civilization.
Fr. Tanaka has lived in Athens while studying at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
His message read: “…My Beloved Greeks, your generosity is great and immeasurable … from antiquity until today, you have brought light to the world. Greece is the light of the world, as revealed by God.”
