Great Vespers for the Feast of the Archangels at the Taxiarchis Monastery in Mantamados, Lesvos (video)
His Eminence Metropolitan Theoliptos of Iconium, Hierarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, officiated on Thursday evening, 7 November 2024, at the Great Vespers which took place at the celebrating Holy Pilgrimage Church of the Holy All-Great Taxiarches, in the village of Mantamados, Lesvos.
During his speech, Metropolitan Theoliptos conveyed to the congregation the paternal wishes of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and also thanked the local Hierarch, His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Mithymna, for the invitation, and referred to the Church’s teaching on Angels.
