The Greek armed forces’ oldest military band – that of the Hellenic Army – under the direction of Lt. Col. Nikolaos Lafatas, was on duty on Thursday during the annual Greek Independence Day parade, accompanying the motorized and infantry units’ march – on the occasion of the bicentennial of the 1821 Revolution.
The Orthodoxia News Agency acquired these exclusive photos, as the band played “For Faith & Homeland”.
