Greek community of Egypt in mourning after sudden passing of Alexandria’s Asia Minor Association president

The ethnic Greek community of Alexandria and throughout Egypt is in mourning this week, after the sudden passing of Michalis Solomonidis, the 52-year-old president of Alexandria’s Asia Minor Association.
Solomonidis passed away on Thursday, struck down by complications from the Covid-19 virus.
