Greek main opposition leader Tsipras on Dormition Day message: courage in times of trouble
In these dark times of crisis – in the fields of health, economy and relations with provocative Turkey – the Greek people need courage to overcome, especially through personal faith and the faith provided by Greek lore and traditions, main opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras said on Saturday, Dormition Day.
Tsipras sent his message through social media for Dormition, the day Greeks honor “the mother that protects the weak and those facing injustices, who forgives and does not punish, whose name is on the lips of all those who feel they need her presence.”
