Greeting Visit of the Saudi Ambassador to His Beatitude Patriarch John X

Balamand, January 16, 2023.

His Beatitude Patriarch John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, received His Excellency Walid Al-Bukhari, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, at the Patriarchal Headquarters in Balamand. The visit was intended to exchange greetings and discuss the general conditions in the Lebanese and regional arenas. His Beatitude stressed the need to intensify efforts to elect a president for the Republic.
The meeting was attended by His Eminence Ghattas Hazim, Metropolitan of Baghdad, Kuwait, and Dependencies, as well as Dr. Elias Warrak, President of the University of Balamand, and the Rt. Rev. Archimandrite George Yaacoub, Oikonomos of Our Lady of Balamand Patriarchal Monastery.
