His Grace Bishop Silvester took part in the great Vespers for the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God at St. Nicolas Cathedral Namungoona

On August 14th, 2019, His Grace Bishop Silvester took part in the great Vespers for the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God at St. Nicolas Cathedral Namungoona. The Bishop performed a thanksgiving service and blessing of the bread. In today’s vespers we are celebrating the eve of 15th August feast of the Domition of the Mother of God. In this we celebrate the falling asleep and assumption of the ever virgin and blessed Mother of God Mary, and we remember her, who in birth, preserved virginity; in death, did not abandon the world, and as a mother of life, she departed to the source of life, her Son and Son of God Christ Jesus our God.
