Holy Easter Week without non-essential travel to provinces this year in Greece

Authorities throughout Greece will be on high alert for the next several days along major highways, in order to enforce a non-essential intra-state travel ban, given continued restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a related development, members of the Holy Eparchial Synod of the Church of Crete late this week called on the faithful to adhere to restrictions and measures legislated by the state for the upcoming Holy and Great Easter Week in order to contain the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
