Holy Icon of the Panaghia Eleovritissa conveyed to Kalamaria

Clergy and the faithful of the Kalamaria district in east Thessaloniki on Wednesday joyously and reverently greeted the Holy Icon of the Panaghia Eleovritissa, which was solemnly conveyed to the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Transformation of the Savior from the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi on Mount Athos.
The Holy Icon was conveyed by the Abbot of the venerable Monastery, the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, along with Vatopedi Elders.

On his part, the resident Metropolitan, His Eminence Ioustinos, expressed his warm appreciation to the Elder Ephraim and the Vatopedi brotherhood, underlining that as of Wednesday the municipality of Kalamaria is blessed.
