Today, Friday May 15, marks the International Day of Families, an annual commemoration enacted in 1993 by the UN General Assembly in recognition of the fact that the institution of the family is a primary component of each society.
According to St. Paisios, “…the value of life is one: the family; if the family expires, then the entire world will expire”.
