Int’t conference in Moscow on issue of Ukrainian Church

An international conference on the situation revolving around the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will be held in Moscow on May 29.

The forum will be held under the auspices of the Russian president’s council for cooperation of ecclesiastical organizations, Russia’s inter-faith council, the Russian Union for Religious Freedom and the Imperial Palestine Society.

Representatives from a handful of Orthodox Churches are set to attend.

As expected, the issue of Autocephaly for the Ukrainian Church, as granted by the Ecumenical Patriarchate, will dominate the conference’s agenda.
