Islamist Erdogan threatens to reconvert more Churches-turned museums back into mosques

The latest inflammatory statement by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the increasingly authoritarian but also poll-trailing president of Turkey, came over the weekend, when in speaking to youth supporters, the Islamist Turkish leader spoke of re-conversions of other museums in the country to mosques, similar to the desecration perpetrated on the incomparable Hagia Sophia in Constantinople, adding that “…God willing, others will follow”.
