Israel’s envoy to Romania meets with Romanian Church’s vicar in Jerusalem

The Israeli ambassador to Romania, David Saranga, toured several sites in the Holy Land week, where he also met with the Romanian Patriarchate’s representative in Jerusalem, the V. Rev. Archimandrite Teofil.

The well-known diplomat noted afterwards that the Romanian Church in Jerusalem is a landmark for Israeli culture, while expressing his wish that Romanian pilgrims soon return to the Holy Land.
