Kimberly Guilfoyle to Archbishop of Sinai: “The US supports the Monastery of Saint Catherine of Sinai”
In a meeting in Athens, American Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle and His Eminence Archbishop Symeon of Sinai, Pharan, and Raitho discussed the matters regarding St. Catherine’s Monastery in Sinai.
Ambassador Guilfoyle reiterated America’s support for this holy place, the oldest continuously operating monastery in the world.
The United States is and will remain committed to religious freedom and preserving the Monastery’s rich cultural heritage.
