Makarios reassuring over continued operation of St. John’s Greek Orthodox College in Melbourne

Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, this week assured pupils and teaching staff at the St. John’s Greek Orthodox College in Melbourne that the preschool to grade 12 academy will continue its unhindered operation.

Thousands of second- and third-generation Greek-Australians have graduated from the specific academy over the decades.

During his pastoral visit to the school, Makarios directly dismissed speculation of its closure.
