Meeting between Archbishop Ieronymos, Greek PM Mitsotakis

The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on Monday afternoon was received by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the latter’s official Maximos Mansion office.
Discussions revolved around the exploitation of certain Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece assets, particularly of a 300-hectare Church-owned tract of land in the industrial district of Schisto, west of Athens proper, which is expected to host a logistics hub and residential construction.

The same issue was discussed during a session of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece earlier this month.
