Meeting of the Patriarch of Alexandria with Greek PM Mitsotakis
The Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today with His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africa, at the Maximos Mansion.
During the meeting, they reviewed issues concerning the ancient Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and discussed the challenges within its jurisdiction.
They also emphasised the significance of the Patriarchate’s role in promoting Hellenism and Orthodoxy in Africa. The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s unwavering support for the Patriarchate’s mission.
