Metropolitan of Didimotycho Damaskinos conducts pilgrimage Strumica region

The Metropolitan of Didimotycho, Orestiada & Soufli, His Eminence Damaskinos, made a pilgrimage this week to the Strumica region in the southeast corner of the Republic of North Macedonia, following the gracious invitation of the Archdiocese of Ohrid’s resident Metropolitan of Strumica, His Eminence Naum.
Metropolitan Damaskinos made pilgrimages to several monasteries in the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the metropolis, including ones dating to the Byzantine era, as well as visiting and praying at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Sts. Cyril and Methodios and the under construction Metropolitan Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos, in the center of the city.
