Metropolitan of Kissamos & Selinos Amphilochios bemoans rising traffic fatalities on isle of Crete

The Church of Crete’s Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selinos, His Grace Amphilochios, spoke to the Orthodoxia news agency this week, referring to the pain and anguish felt by the families and loved ones of victims of increased traffic fatalities on the large island of Crete, which have increased by 40 percent this year, compared with the corresponding period of 2021.
His Grace also referred to the advisory role of the Church in efforts to eradicate this tragic phenomenon.
