Metropolitan of Rethymno Prodromos officiates at festal services at celebrating Monastery of St. Irene, the Righteous of Chrysovalantou

The Metropolitan of Rethymno & Avlopotamos, His Grace Prodromos, on Thursday officiated at services at the celebrating Monastery of St. Irene, the Righteous of Chrysovalantou.
His Grace thanked the Archbishop of Crete Evgenios and the Elder Archimandrite Methodios, the Abbot of the Irakleio-area monastery, for the invitation to officiate at the festal services on the occasion of the saint’s feast day, as well as towards all the faithful, who as he said, have over the past 20 years helped in organizing feast day celebrations at the monastery since its foundation.
