Metropolitan of Syros leads litany of Panaghia Mayiatissa on Folegandros

The Metropolitan of Syros, His Eminence Dorotheos, led a litany this week of the Holy Icon of the Panaghia Mayiatissa in the main town on the Cyclades island of Folegandros.
The annual litany, which is conducted on May 1 to convey the Holy Icon to the Cathedral at Paleokastro dedicated to the Virgin Mary, was postponed due to the pandemic.
A con-celebratory archieratical Vespers service was held at the cathedral.
