Metropolitan of Tamassos & Orinis Isiah inaugurates museum on liberation struggle against colonial rule in Cyprus between 1955-59

The Metropolitan of Tamassos and Orinis, His Grace Isiah, on Wednesday officiated at the opening of a museum on the liberation struggle against colonial rule between 1955 and 1959, which is located within the Holy Monastery of St. Panteleimonas, in the Nicosia district.

His Grace blessed the event and spoke during the presentation of a book authored by the monastery’s parish priest, the All-Reverend Archimandrite Barnabas, entitled “The Holy Monastery of St. Panteleimonas at Acheras and its Contribution to the Liberation Struggle of EOKA, 1955-59”.
