Metropolitan of Volokolamsk Hilarion warns against so-called ‘vaccination’ passport

The Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, His Eminence Hilarion, this week told a Russian television station that the concept of a “Covid-19 vaccination passport” would violate the principle of voluntary inoculation.

His Eminence, who is also the chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department of External Church Relations, said most countries in the world, including European ones, are not in favor of mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations.
He added that implementation of such certificates for travel could harm certain segments of people, such as those that cannot be vaccinated for various reasons.
