On May 31, the 7th Sunday after the Resurrection of Christ, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova celebrated the Divine Liturgy together with the clergy and parishioners of the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral in Chisinau.

This Sunday commemorates the Holy Fathers of the 1st Oecumenical Council. It highlights the unity of the Church in the confession of the Apostolic faith, and calls all Christians to follow the example of the Holy Fathers who gathered in Nicea in 325 to condemn wrong interpretations of Christian teaching. They formulated the Orthodox Creed, completing it in 381. This Creed, or Confession of Faith, has remained unchanged since then in world Orthodoxy.

The service was live broadcast on Moldovan National TV and Radio, with liturgical commentaries provided by Iulian Proca.
