Mickey Rourke visits Cathedral of St. Nektarios of Aegina

Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke visited and prayed at the Cathedral of St. Nektarios of Aegina this week, after wrapping up his scenes for the movie “Man of God”, which recounts the works, life and miracles of the early 20th century saint.
The award-winning actor portrays a cripple cured by a relic of the saint.
Rourke had a expressed a desire to visit the cathedral on the eponymous island, south of Athens, to the film’s director, Yelena Popovic.
