Ordination of Presbyter in Halki on Friday of Renewal Week
On Friday of Bright Week (Renewal Week), the ordination of deacon Meletios Stephanatos, one of the brothers of the Holy Monastery of the Holy Trinity, will be held in Halki of the Princes’ Islands.
The relevant communiqué of the Theological School of Halki states:
“We are pleased to announce that on Friday of Bright Week, the 21st of the month, at around 9 am in the Chapel of the Theological School, on the feast of the consecrations of the Church of the Most Holy Theotokos, of the Life-giving Spring, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, presided over by the Aboot, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, will take place in which the ordination to Presbyter of one of the brothers of Holy Monastery of The Holy Trinity, deacon Meletios Stephanatos will also be conducted. After the Divine Liturgy, a reception and festive banquet will follow”.
