Orthodox charity to feed homeless on first Saturday of Souls

On the occasion of the first Saturday of Souls for the year, which is commemorated on the ecclesiastical calendar on Saturday, March 6, the Orthodox charity “Mercy”, with the blessing of the Russian Orthodox Church, will commence another initiative, namely, offering meals to homeless people.
The charity said the initiative is in line with Christian Orthodox tradition, whereby good deeds and charity are extended in memory of deceased loves ones.
