Orthodox Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda: His Grace Bishop Silvester presided over Ordination of Deacon Simon Menya

On Wednesday, July 31, 2019 during Holy Liturgy at St. Lavrentios Orthodox Cathedral, His Grace Bishop Silvester presided over Ordination of Deacon Simon Menya to Priesthood. The now Rev. Fr. Simon, graduated with a Master in Theology Diploma at St. Vladimir Seminary in the United and upon completion of his studies he returned to serve his mother Church in the Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda. His Eminence Metropolitan Innocentios of Rwanda and Burundi and Rev. Fr. Martin Ritsi the Director of Orthodox Christian Mission Center – OCMC were present to grace this glorious mystery. May the Lord our God guide Rev. Fr. Simon in this Mission of our Lord.
