Orthodox Metropolis of Korea – Signing of contract for the construction of the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Jeonju

The Orthodox Metropolis of Korea (Ecumenical Patriarchate) has issued a statement concerning the construction of the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Jeonju. Read the full text down below:

After many years of efforts, we are finally happy to announce that, with the help of God and the intercessions of Our Lady the Theotokos, on Friday March 20, 2020. Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea  and the Director of thConstruction Company E ECO CO. signed the Contract for the construction of the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Jeonju  and for the adjacent Community Center as well.
 
The project will begin on Monday, April 6, 2020, and will be completed on June 30, 2021. We ask for your prayers, as well as for financial support of those who can afford to make a donation for this sacred work.
