Panagia Gorgoepikoos Monastery celebrates memory of St Seraphim of Sarov
On Monday, 2 January 2023, with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis visited the Holy Monastery of Panagia Gorgoepikoos in Geelong, Victoria and presided over the feast day Divine Liturgy held in memory of Saint Seraphim of Sarov, in the outdoor chapel dedicated to the memory of the Saint.
His Grace Bishop Kyriakos, who was accompanied by clergy from Melbourne, in the presence of many pilgrims, spoke about the life of the honoured Saint, and conveyed to everyone the wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia while thanking Gerontissa Kallisteni of the Holy Monastery for her hospitality.
